Year 6 last trip to brownings Farm
Over the last three weeks Year 6 have been visiting Brownings Farm for their last time. Many of the children were sad to be visiting for the last time but had a brilliant time and loved seeing all the animals.
Year 6 had a brilliant time and got to complete a range of activities such as planting wild flower seeds, hiking to the old church and feeding the animals.
Brownings Farm provides such an amazing opportunity for the children and the adults. Staff have got to know the children well and the children have tackled long walks with determination and enjoyed the challenge. The children loved seeing the historical landmarks and of course getting to feed and pet the animals.
Some of the children also got to mend some fencing and were able to develop their science learning, finding some non-vascular plants which they had learnt about in school.
