P.E., Sport and School Activities
Three Bridges Primary School entered 75% of competitions and festivals put on by the Crawley SGO during the 2025-26 academic year. This result has put us second in a list of 25 qualifying Crawley Primary Schools. This result means Three Bridges Primary School has been in the top two for four years running, which includes three years in first place. As with every year, we pledged to enter 100% of them and only missed out on that target due to staff absence and school trips. Another factor in this is that as a school we have qualified for more county regional finals in recent years and as a result have to miss some local events, which further highlights the school's development at county level.
We were able to invite every single child from year 6 for the academic year 2025-26 to either a festival or competition, with the majority of them taking their place.
In addition to this, school staff were also able to transport nearly 200 children to festivals, competitions and county finals.
Our aims for the next academic year are to continue our development as a platinum schools games primary school and continue our work with local festivals and competitions. We aim to invite everyone from year 6 again and as many children from year 3,4 and 5 as well. We will also look make sure there is equal opportunity for everyone to attend these events and have pledged to enter all SEND events for the 2026-27 academic year and will be looking to take the maximum number of children possible.
Finally, our swimming data for 2025/26 was:
62/86 in year 6 left being able to swim the required distance, which Is 72% of the entire year group.
