Year 3 Forest School
We have had some pretty extreme weathers already this term - torrential rain, flooding, huge puddles, snow and this week we had ice!
Year 3 loved exploring outside and had the excitement of exploring lots of untouched ice. Some fantastic language, comparisons, exploring and just having fun.
"Look - this ice is really thick, we are going to have to work hard to break it"
"I can see a diamond"
"Do you think it will melt on the fire?"
"We are making soup, let's add lots of ice - its melting"
The children wrapped up - although they now think that 2 or more pairs of socks are a good idea. We saw some great team work, fab exploration, super working together and the children had FUN!
